Have you ever seen Beverley Minster? It's just gorgeous! The perfect setting for the wedding of the lovely Mike and Lucy, our wonderful Yorkshire love birds!
The reception, held at the Beverley Memorial Hall, had a delightfully rustic charm, where friends and family pulled together to help the couple decorate and dress the venue. They had managed to completely transform the hall into a bunting filled wonderland. Fresh flowers bought from a local flower market were assembled into pretty hand ties dusting the tables with warm hues of pink and lavender. Ribbon tied glass jars and ceramic jugs displayed the blooms, and hand typed lettering indicated place settings. The brilliant idea of creating mixed CD's as favors gave the hint at the musical delights to come further into the evening. Music was obviously a big part of Lucy and Mike's lives. Other highlights of the day included a trumpet player heading the crowd as they walked from the Minster to the reception venue! We also witnessed the best speeches we have ever heard, especially the best man's speech! 'Matty' was hilarious! As the evening rolled on our Groom geared up for his gig and what a delight to hear him sing a medley of the couples favourite tracks and a beautifully written song, just for Lucy. That is where the inspiration for our wedding trailer came from, we wanted to make something really special that captured the day and showcased Mike's song for the lovely Lucy.
