Nina and Paul's wedding was one that seemed to be highlighted, in bold and underlined on our calendar for a long while, this was mainly because our lovely Bride kept changing the venue of the wedding :-) but also because we knew that the film was so, so important to her, not at the bottom of a suppliers list, but as a priority. Which made us happy.
Watching Nina and Paul's film back, you can see it embodies all the things we love about a wedding day. Her beautiful children were such an important part of the day, and they brought a life to the film that puts a smile on our face everytime. Nina is a woman who knows what she wants, so organised, creative and talented, it is enviable! The wedding was perfection. Rustic charm and Maid Marian meets the 1930's it how I can best describe the feel (all my favourite things!). It was truly stunning. Nina transformed the barn at the Wellbeing Farm in ways that even the greatest creative mind couldn't fathom. Tables dressed with Nina's rolls of hand designed wall paper, candles, logs cuts, wood and bark mixed in with cocktails in jars and homemade desserts. The brilliant Vintage 78 DJ's set the tone playing vintage 30's records on gramophones throughout the reception, super cool. The extremely talented Angela Coulton provided the most stunning flowers, complex in texture and colours. Nina's beautifully hand tied, wild and rustic bouquet and flower crown gave such a warm and wintery feel to Nina's look, we loved it so much! The day was photographed by the highly recommended Jo Bradbury, her images are truly stunning, and she is such a dream to work with. We are big fans!
A photo of Nina and her family taken by our talented photographer Jo Bradbury was posted as part of the #sharethehonestlove campaign, and we couldn't have captioned a moment from their wedding in any other way. We love their film because it shares just that, a wedding that is honest, and loving and true.
A film of your wedding day captures all the little moments, the things you didn't see, it remembers the words that were spoken, as they were said, the sound of a laugh, a child hiding away, or dancing on hay bales. A film remembers the music, those precious vows, some handwritten so beautifully with such time and emotion locked away inside each character. It catches delicate tears and secret smiles. It's a way to look back and see what the day really was, and see faces no longer with us, faces moving, animated and beautiful. A film never lies, it is true and it has heart and that it excactly why we love what we do.
Nina's website can be viewed here, we would highly recommend her for any wedding coordination and /or design services!
