We couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to kick off our year then Wei Wei and Scott! Alongside a host of fantastic wedding suppliers, and held at wedding venue Rise Hall, it was our pleasure to create this wedding film for them. Armed with catering from the absolutely sublime Annika's Apron, and the lovely Cherry Williams makings the spaces look super lovely, we were in for a real treat and the day didn't disappoint. We love shooting at Rise, beautiful grounds for filming in and super spaces, like the luxurious library and amazing ballroom. We were delighted to offer our first 4K shoot too and we are super pleased with the result! Here's just a small taster of a really beautiful day!
Kirsty and Dan's wedding day was truly everything we could ask for to create a perfect Autumn wedding film. We love filming at Askham Hall, and as one of their recommended suppliers, we know it well, and love the bones of it! Dan and Kirsty's style and design for their big day was simply beautiful, they embraced the season and brought in floral experts Made In Flowers to work their magic! I am sure you will agree, the barn looks stunning, and look at that bouquet! We also couldn't have asked for nicer clients in Dan and Kirsty, these guys were a joy to work with, even after the dramas of major road closures and dragging in last minute make up artists! They were still smiling and we just loved capturing the love that they have for each other, and the fun, lovely, lovely people.
Speaking of lovely people, we were delighted to meet and shoot alongside award winning photographer Alan Law - a true professional, charming guy, who's images are just sublime!
We are so happy to share this little slice of Dan and Kirsty's day here, enjoy, it makes us look forward to cosy Autumn days again!
Such a stunning day in the heart of Yorkshire, for Marianne and Liam. We love filming weddings at Hornington Manor, and this wedding was no exception! Beautiful styling and florals, vintage bus, countryside and hay bales and a beautiful bride and groom, what more could we ask for.
It was a stunning day at one of our favourite wedding venues Lartington Hall. We love filming at this venue, it's amazing setting in the Yorkshire Dales, is perfect for an elegant wedding. We were blessed with beautiful weather and a superb wedding ceremony held at Whitburn Parish Church. After a long drive down the East coast, we arrived at the venue in time to greet Lee and Stephanie, arriving in style in their beautiful white wedding cars. We loved working with Lee Scullion wedding photographer and seeing the amazing elegant florals and details by The Finishing Touch Company. We always have such a warm welcome by the team at Lartington Hall, and hope that this little wedding film shows does it justice. Here's a little taste of Stephanie and Lee's day... x
We were lucky enough to be invited to head to Surrey to create a wedding film at the fabulous Farnham Castle . We loved working with our amazing clients Sophie and Matt who were so natural in front of the camera, making our lives super easy. They were blessed with fantastic weather for a February wedding, it really was beautiful blue skies day. The wedding party spend most of their time outside the castle, enjoying the sunshine with a glass of champagne. Sophie and Matt loved our signature wedding film style and were super happy with this wedding trailer and their final wedding film.
What a stunning setting for a gorgeous Autumn Lake District wedding film, at the beautiful setting of Askham Hall. We loved the crisp skies and autumn colours that framed this amazing wedding beautifully. What more could us Yorkshire wedding videographers hope for! Lucky us!
We have had a fantastic 2016 full of wonderful couples and venues, styling and florals. Here is a collection of some of our Summer weddings from last year. We loved filming at the amazing West Mill in Derby, a homespun country wedding in Harrogate, the delightful Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield. Each wedding was stunning and we were so lucky with some wonderful weather, even the odd rainy wedding was still romantic and a dream to film. As Yorkshire wedding videographers we are happy to travel to any location, and love filming in the South of England as well as in Yorkshire.
A quick look at the lovely wedding of Leigh and Hayley at Woodlands Boutique Hotel in Gildersome.
This was such an amazing wedding day just outside of York. We loved the beautiful setting at Aldby Park and the stunningly decorated sperry tent. Rustic details, countryside theme and a whole lot of fun was had.
We absolutely loved filming with Alan and Sarah for their amazing day, held at our favourite, St Mary's Church in Beverley and then onto the KP Club in Pocklington. Our dream team was made up of the delightful Vicki Sudderby Hair and Make Up team doing a sterling job as usual, amazing naked cake by Caroline Couture Cakes, slamming it once again with those damn fine florals, Sarah Nicholson, The Floral Lounge and the brilliant photography team, Sarah Beth Photo and Megan Sarah Photography. We loved working with these guys, such a fun day and amazing results for Sarah and Alan all round.
We are so lucky that we are so often booked by clients that just really get us and our style and vision, and these guys did just that. Everything about their day, from Sarah's finesse and attention to the on the day details. The beautiful styling, choice of suppliers and everything else just blended effortlessly together. The family and friendships really shone at this wedding and it was just a delight to capture. We really did have a blast. Here's a little taster of their wedding day. Enjoy. x
Such a perfect sunny April day for Charlotte and Neil's gorgeous wedding day in Oxfordshire. Opting for a traditional church service in Bicester, the reception was held on the Oak Tree Farm in Doddershall, the vibes were fun, floral and rustic. Charlotte's attention to detail was sublime, everything looked so beautiful at every turn. Florals, courtesy of The Great Little Flower Company were bunched into rustic hand ties, table arrangements sporting bluebells growing from mossy beds, succulents and lily of the valley, it was a wondrous meadow of Spring flowers! We loved working with the brilliant Kari Bellamy photography, a delight in person and in print, what a superstar. You can see her brilliant photos from this fabulous day here. There was no end to the cosying up round fire pits, jumping on hay bales and basking in the beautiful April sunlight for their guests, and a brilliant evening party. Congratulations again Charlotte and Neil, here's to a very happy life together and some fantastic memories! xx
A stunning day for our gorgeous couple Dom and Laura! The ceremony was held at the exclusive St Peter's on the Chatsworth Estate, a beautiful spot, and set the elegant tone for this very timeless day. Laura florals were bundled with stocks and lavender, just beautiful! We loved arriving at Hassop Hall, a wonderful venue, and were so lucky with the weather, which every so often rained hail stones on us, despite that was glorious sunshine! We were delighted to see our past clients, Catriona and Tom with their darling new baby, it is so heart warming to be part of another of this wonderful families treasured occasions. All in all we were really spoilt with these two. The camera just loved them and you only have to watch this film to see why. An amazing day for a wonderful family and a darling couple. Lots of love to you both. xx
When we dream about beautiful weddings and classic elegance, this is the wedding we have in mind. A stunning and peaceful spot for a romantic ceremony at the ancient St Peter's Church in Heysham followed by a elegently styled dream-come-true wedding reception at the gorgeous The Royal Hotel in Kirkby Lonsdale was the day of all dreams, for Ricky and Rebecca. The day was delightfully crafted together by the sublime Tebbey & Co and captured in full beauty by the ever talented Rachel Heyton Photography - a match made in heaven. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and every time we watch this trailer, we wish for Autumn and all the romance that comes with it. x
"It is so gorgeous, we absolutely love the highlights video - we've both laughed out loud and I've cried a fair bit too watching it back. You've done such a fantastic job putting it together. Thank you. It's also so lovely to have the speeches and ceremony in full, as some elements on the day were a bit of a blur. We're on our 4th viewing already and counting! Thank you both again for being so brilliant on the day and capturing everything so beautifully." Matt & Hannah
Love, laughter and good fun was what Sam and Kelly wanted from their big day, held at the stunning Natural Retreats in North Yorkshire. An outdoor ceremony and marquee decorated with chandeliers, flat caps and pipes for the boys and a scattering of sparkle for the new Mrs North. Sam and Kelly held a truly international affair with friends and family flying over from all corners of the world, the beauty of holding the day at Natural Retreats was that everyone was in one place, together to enjoy the weekend and created a real party atmosphere! We loved working with the brilliant Paul Liddement Wedding Stories who's photo's are gorgeous, you can view them here . Forage and Blossom created the beautiful and elegant florals, a stunning arch for the ceremony, natural whites and greens for the bouquets which married to the surroundings. The day was fun from start to finish and we love their upbeat wedding trailer which captures the day perfectly. Congratulations you lovely two! x
Sean & Daniela's beautiful day started out at the family home for bubbly Bridal preparations, the girls looked fab in their matching dressing gowns, a very glamorous start for us! There was a whole lot of love between our stunning Bride Daniela and her entourage of beautiful Bridesmaids, being childhood friends, it was nostalgic and heartwarming to see the girls together relaxing before their big moment. Dapper Groom Sean met us at the church and had everything in order, friends and family arrived to the sounds of strings echoing across the vaulted ceiling. A fleet of white London cabs delivered the wedding party to us, and pretty in pastels and ivory, the girls were looking amazing. Daniela's smile said it all as she reached the alter to the equally beaming Sean, we couldn't help but feel the love radiating from these two. It was a real pleasure to witness them get 'wed'! On to Adlington Hall where the grounds blessed with pink cherry blossoms and forget me nots looked stunning, what a fantastic party our lovely couple held. Adlington Hall is amazing and full of history, we just loved it. Photos of the day were taken by Mick Cookson, who was a real pleasure to work with and got some really stunning shots. We are really happy to offer this little piece of Sean & Daniela's day, and can't wait to get their final film over to them. Congratulations you two! x
We are so delighted to be able to share with you this little film of Tony & Harmeet's big day. The nature of the Sikh wedding meant that we had some beautiful and amazing footage to look forward to and the day didn't disappoint! Tony & Harmeet booked us over a year ago and we had been looking forward to their wedding for ages!! We talked on many occasions about the order of the day and the process in which the ceremonies and events would unfold, organising a large wedding for over 200 people isn't an easy feat! Tony, Harmeet and their wonderful families did an outstanding job. A very traditional Sikh ceremony was held at the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, Leeds, followed by a delightful cocktail hour and wedding breakfast held at the fabulous Oulton Hall. Everyone looks absolutely beautiful dressed in traditional sari's and headdresses. We joined Tony for his preparations at home, with friends and family joining him for the celebrations. Both families participated in a traditional Milni on arrivals at the Gurdwara and we loved observing their closeness and delight in being together as a family. It was really wonderful.
We loved spending time with our gorgeous couple, and when it came to the dancing, we all almost jumped up and joined them. We must mention working with Qu Photographer who was brilliant on the day and worked seamlessly in a very documentary style. What a brilliant day, with beautiful, beautiful people and we couldn't be more happier to have shared in their very special day. We wish them both the happiest of lives together. x
These Two. I have to say, we work with some pretty lovely people in this business, but creating a wedding film for Ollie and Jenna, was so delightful in everyway. We knew when we met them at Silkstone All Saints Church back in the Spring, that they were lovely, and we really couldn't wait to see the pretty pastel hues, gold and sparkle and all the exquisite details that Jenna described for her big day, in action. We were not disappointed. As well as getting to hang out with the fantastic fine art photographer that is Georgina Harrison all day (you can see her beautiful photos here; http://georginaharrisonphotography.co.uk/2014/07/yorkshire-wedding-photography-smallshaw-farm-marquee-wedding-jenna-ollie/), we were all in agreement that we were spoilt with glamour and natural sophistication. For Jenna, bridal preparation started at the family home, whilst Ollie warmed up the fantastic Smallshaw Farm cottages with his merry groomsmen. On arrival at the church, hues of pastel corals and ivory flowers hung beautifully on the dark wooden pews, framing the sweeping isle. Ollie looked exceptionally dashing, and with best man Joe by his side, they greeted guests and made sure everything was 'just so'. Jenna's dress was gorgeous, graceful and timeless, she stole everybody's glances as she walked the isle in her Jimmy Choo shoes, with her Father by her side.
Preceding the LONGEST confetti run we have ever witnessed, was a fabulous party and reception at Smallshaw Farm. Guests were treated to a wonderful brass band during drinks on the lawn, playing an array of tunes. The most gorgeous ivory marquee, complete with ivory star curtain, hosted the celebrations. We were in a setting so picturesque and breathtaking, we found it hard to get a bad angle. Friends For Dinner catered the day, even guests got to play at chef, with each table presented with chefs hat and carving tools for the main course.
Into the evening we were treated to a One Direction number for Ollie and Jenna's first dance, and a bombardment of beaver masks - a nod to Jenna's former surname and hen doo. It was a truly stunning day, and we felt really honoured to have had the opportunity to create a wedding film for these two. We were so humbled by such praise for the final product, which you can read here in our testimonials. All that is left to say is all the best, and so much love to the two of you for a fantastic future together. Watch the trailer to their film here;
Rain on your wedding day is lucky, right?! Well the heavens truly opened on the 24th August, the day of our lovely couple, Byron and Sian's wedding. We were blessed with some gorgeous rainy shots, with stormy skies and dew kissed grounds at the Ward Rooms in Chatham, Kent. Byron and Sian's handmade day showcased a beautiful VW Campervan cake, a sea of lavender and violet cupcakes, and home made treasures by family and friends. The pitter patter of tiny purple Converse trainers greeted guests at the venue, with the bridal party, (including the flower girls and page boy) all wearing alike. Campervan chic was a theme of the day, with a vintage bus turning up for guests to pose in for photos. We loved the sweet table and 'Cadbury's' theme as FOTB joked in his speech. We wish Byron and Sian all the happiness and luck the rain could possibly give them!
