Byron and Sian's Wedding

Rain on your wedding day is lucky, right?! Well the heavens truly opened on the 24th August, the day of our lovely couple, Byron and Sian's wedding. We were blessed with some gorgeous rainy shots, with stormy skies and dew kissed grounds at the Ward Rooms in Chatham, Kent. Byron and Sian's handmade day showcased a beautiful VW Campervan cake, a sea of lavender and violet cupcakes, and home made treasures by family and friends. The pitter patter of tiny purple Converse trainers greeted guests at the venue, with the bridal party, (including the flower girls and page boy) all wearing alike. Campervan chic was a theme of the day, with a vintage bus turning up for guests to pose in for photos. We loved the sweet table and 'Cadbury's' theme as FOTB joked in his speech. We wish Byron and Sian all the happiness and luck the rain could possibly give them! 

Silver Sixpence launch!

We've had an exciting few months filming some amazing weddings and getting our website up and running. We have travelled some distance, from glorious East Yorkshire, at Lucy and Mike's wedding in Beverley, to the Kent countryside, with the lovely Matt and Kate at the fabulous Cooling Castle Barn.

Beverley Minster was a true joy to shoot. With its high arched ornate ceilings, and stunning stained glass windows. We found it hard to leave when the ceremony was over. Luckily we knew what treats lay ahead at the reception! Lucy's eye for detail had transformed the Beverley Memorial Hall in to a wondrous cave of pastel bunting and country flowers, and the couples favours of CD's favourite tracks were genius. Highlights of the reception included the Best Man's speech - utterly fantastic, the Grooms serenade of  McFly cover 'It's All About 'Lu' (You)' and his own song, written for his Bride, 'Lucy'. A fantastic day with a lovely, lovely couple! They were blown away by their highlights film. Ed is busy cutting the extended version as I type!
