A dreamy Spring day at the gorgeous North East venue Guyzance Hall. It has been such a dream getting into our Spring weddings. There is something just so magical about the world coming back to life with buds and Spring flowers. We were not disappointed with the blessing of daffodils and Spring blooms for Sarah and Andrew's big day. A gorgeous family wedding with lots of fun filled the day with laughs and love. We loved working with our pal Paul Liddement Wedding Stories who time and time again nails it with some of the best wedding photography we have seen. Very happy to be sharing this little taste of a beautiful day. P & E x
This was a really special wedding for us, it was the most beautiful day, perfectly crafted by Joelle, who seems to have a perfect talent for wedding planning! Joelle looked stunning and our hearts sung at the sight of her vintage inspired dress and flower crown. What lovely words we received about their film package, a pleasure and a joy, and much love to you both. x
"We received our beautiful wedding box this weekend, everything about it was just so special... and how lovely to have in time for Christmas so we can show family and friends! We watched the highlights film together last night and then immediately watched it again with cake and prosecco! We can't wait to show everyone. Thank you for working so hard to put it all together, we will never forget our wedding day and now thanks to you we can relive it over and over! The shots are incredible, the moments so delightful and the music made us very tearful! In the best way possible. It means so much that you captured our day in such a beautiful way. I'm grinning from ear to ear just thinking about it and writing this! We hope you have an amazing Christmas and lovely new year. We will absolutely raise a glass to you for helping to make 2015 such a fabulous year of celebrations and for creating a story that we will enjoy forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Pete & Joelle
"One of our best decisions was to have our wedding filmed. In the beginning we were very against the idea, not being particularly in love with even having our photo taken, we weren’t very taken with the thought of adding a video camera into the mix and feeling conscious of every move being filmed so for a long while we didn’t even consider it. Then with around a year to go something changed. We came across Silver Sixpence Films – their work was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t want in your face cameras or guests having to leave awkward good luck messages, we just wanted someone there in the background capturing it all as it happened. We met Ed & Penny for the first time in person on the wedding day itself due to us living so far away and they were both very friendly and easy to talk to, they put us both at ease and during the day itself you didn’t feel like you were being followed around by someone with a camera. They felt like two more guests at our wedding! The work they’ve produced was everything we had hoped for and more, . We are so thankful that we changed our minds and opted to get a videographer; we know our wedding film is something we will truly treasure for years to come."
It was a family-led fun filled International day for the lovely Percy and Louise at the Baltic Mill in Newcastle. We loved working with fab photographer Sean Elliot Photography and the team at the Baltic seamlessly running the day to perfection. It was great to work with industrial textures and vibrant colours, Louise's vision was really stunning and we loved the bright balloons and the grand entrance over the Bridge. Newcastle is a fab setting for a wedding, its urban landscape was such fun to work with, especially as we had a dark and stormy day with intermittent rays of glorious sunshine! We loved it! Here is a little taster, and we wish them both a wonderful life together. x
We love love love shooting at the gorgeous Rise Hall, but what makes it super special is when we work with lovely people with a beautiful love story. We first met Matt whilst filming a wedding last year, where he was playing acoustic guitar for our Brides entrance. Matt is such a talented musician, and lives and breathes music. This was a wonderfully romantic day and music set the scene. Matt wrote Natalie's isle song, it was just so perfect in every way. We loved shooting with our new pals Tom and Ant over at Fossca Photography , we had a blast and were totally spoilt shooting with our gorgeous couple and their lovely family and friends. We really love this trailer, it is so pretty and romantic. I loved that the family chipped in to make decorations and create all the pretty. I love that they organised a Bake Off! Genius! Enjoy this little taster of a lovely romantic day and big shout out to the great suppliers we worked with on the day, especially Helen and her team at Rise Hall and our boys Fossca. x
Ian and Rebecca wed at the darling St Michael and All Saints Church in Hathersage, a pretty country church followed by a beautiful reception at the Losehill Hall Hotel. Rebecca and her stunning bridesmaids prepped at the family home with the help of the brilliant Victoria Farr make up artist. The service was followed by a brilliant reception attended by the West End Singing Waiters a surprise for all guests (even the Groom!) from bride Becky. Ian and his entourage of chaps suited and booted arrived in style in their Rally cars, a first for us! We loved their beautiful wedding and wish them all the very best. Here is a little offering of their special day...
