These two are just an absolute ray of sunshine and we just loved shooting their spectacular wedding day, held at the gorgeous St Mary's Church in Beverley and then on to one of our faves Rise Hall. We loved working with the talented Katherine at Inspire Images and the brilliant Sarah at The Floral Lounge a dream team for a dreamy day. Helen and the team at Rise were as always, seamless and amazing, we can't recommend this venue highly enough. Working alongside family Zuill again (we filmed for Nicola's sister, Jess, last year) was a dream in itself. The whole family are just a joy and just full of love and kindness. We have been on a real journey with them all over the last few years and it really has been amazing. We are so happy to have captured a very special day indeed. xx
"One of our best decisions was to have our wedding filmed. In the beginning we were very against the idea, not being particularly in love with even having our photo taken, we weren’t very taken with the thought of adding a video camera into the mix and feeling conscious of every move being filmed so for a long while we didn’t even consider it. Then with around a year to go something changed. We came across Silver Sixpence Films – their work was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t want in your face cameras or guests having to leave awkward good luck messages, we just wanted someone there in the background capturing it all as it happened. We met Ed & Penny for the first time in person on the wedding day itself due to us living so far away and they were both very friendly and easy to talk to, they put us both at ease and during the day itself you didn’t feel like you were being followed around by someone with a camera. They felt like two more guests at our wedding! The work they’ve produced was everything we had hoped for and more, . We are so thankful that we changed our minds and opted to get a videographer; we know our wedding film is something we will truly treasure for years to come."
We love love love shooting at the gorgeous Rise Hall, but what makes it super special is when we work with lovely people with a beautiful love story. We first met Matt whilst filming a wedding last year, where he was playing acoustic guitar for our Brides entrance. Matt is such a talented musician, and lives and breathes music. This was a wonderfully romantic day and music set the scene. Matt wrote Natalie's isle song, it was just so perfect in every way. We loved shooting with our new pals Tom and Ant over at Fossca Photography , we had a blast and were totally spoilt shooting with our gorgeous couple and their lovely family and friends. We really love this trailer, it is so pretty and romantic. I loved that the family chipped in to make decorations and create all the pretty. I love that they organised a Bake Off! Genius! Enjoy this little taster of a lovely romantic day and big shout out to the great suppliers we worked with on the day, especially Helen and her team at Rise Hall and our boys Fossca. x
Ian and Rebecca wed at the darling St Michael and All Saints Church in Hathersage, a pretty country church followed by a beautiful reception at the Losehill Hall Hotel. Rebecca and her stunning bridesmaids prepped at the family home with the help of the brilliant Victoria Farr make up artist. The service was followed by a brilliant reception attended by the West End Singing Waiters a surprise for all guests (even the Groom!) from bride Becky. Ian and his entourage of chaps suited and booted arrived in style in their Rally cars, a first for us! We loved their beautiful wedding and wish them all the very best. Here is a little offering of their special day...
Love, laughter and good fun was what Sam and Kelly wanted from their big day, held at the stunning Natural Retreats in North Yorkshire. An outdoor ceremony and marquee decorated with chandeliers, flat caps and pipes for the boys and a scattering of sparkle for the new Mrs North. Sam and Kelly held a truly international affair with friends and family flying over from all corners of the world, the beauty of holding the day at Natural Retreats was that everyone was in one place, together to enjoy the weekend and created a real party atmosphere! We loved working with the brilliant Paul Liddement Wedding Stories who's photo's are gorgeous, you can view them here . Forage and Blossom created the beautiful and elegant florals, a stunning arch for the ceremony, natural whites and greens for the bouquets which married to the surroundings. The day was fun from start to finish and we love their upbeat wedding trailer which captures the day perfectly. Congratulations you lovely two! x
We are so lucky to work in some of the most beautiful places, and we just love filming in the Lake District, so we jumped at the chance to film for Ruth & Tico when our good friend WeddingsByAnnabel contacted us. The lovely Rampsbeck Hotel in Ullswater hosted this unique day, and it was a close knit friends and family affair. Ruth and Tico and their beautiful baby girl kept us in smiles and good spirits and were just so much fun to be around. Everywhere we looked we were spoilt with amazing views and scenery. Ruth and Tico's personal additions to the day were wonderful, they two met whilst playing World of Warcraft and so the decor and details gave a nod to that. It was a pleasure working with photographer Helen Whitaker who matched our informal style of filming perfectly and the gorgeous and amazing Annabel (wedding coordinator) of course! We are happy to present this little film to Ruth & Tico as a reminder of their very special day, your final film will be whizzing its way to the Netherlands soon! x
George and Lorna put on a beautifully rustic day at the fabulous Askham Hall. This stunning location lends itself so gracefully to those tiny details that makes each wedding so unique. A rustic, vintage travel theme graced us on George and Lorna's big day, and we were so excited to be back at one of our favourite venues! The barn looked stunning with hand tied flowers, bay trees and orbs of light hanging effortlessly from the vaulted beams. We loved the vintage camera centre pieces for the wedding breakfast and lace edged cakes. It is so inspiring seeing different venues tackle the changing seasons, and with the end of Winter nearly upon us and as if so timely, the tinniest of buds and daffodils carefully blessed the day, a hint at the begging of a new life and a bright future for George and Lorna. It was the perfect day to mark the beginnings of Spring and we wish this lovely two all the best for the happiest of ever afters.
